Podcast

This is my podcast I did using Windows Movie Maker. I talk about using a web camera and how helpful they are in businesses, schools and for personal use. My biggest battle was trying to figure out how to post it to my blog. I hope this is what was expected. I started second guessing myself after I had seen others posting music. So, I spent the day trying to get a media player on my blog that I could actually download songs to. I probably have very little memory left on my computer because I have downloaded so many applications. The WEB 2.0 might as well have been written in Chinese!! Do I sound a little frustrated? OK... I'm better now. I hope all of you are having better luck.

  1. Hi Jenny,
your blog looks great, your colors are bright and inviting. Your slide show makes me long for warmer weather. I tried your podcast, I got it to buffer, but I was never able to get it to play.

  2. I also love your background scheme! I hope you succeed in obtaining your elementary school license!! I also tried to load the podcast but it was never able to fully load all the way. I am sure it will be amazing though just judging by your blog so far! :)

  3. Hi Jenny,
Great job on your podcast! I like how you added the podcast on the right side of your page and put the text in the post. As far as music on your blog, I use www.projectplaylist.com. I really like it. You create a playlist and search songs on the actual website. Once you get it created, you can go to the web 2.0 link and there is an application on there to add it to blogger.

  4. Hey I liked your podcast. I'm not sure anyone knew what exactly we were suppose to do. I think as long as we all tried and experimented making our own we did fine.

    Great job

  5. Jenny,
Good job on your podcast. I liked how you spoke on the different technologies...there were some mentioned that I had heard of, but never really knew what it was, like Gmail. You defined several terms and that is very helpful to people like me who tend to run the other way, rather than embrace it when it comes to technology. Also, your voice was very clear and easy to understand which is very important in podcasting. I have used movie make at my job a couple of times and find it a little challenging, although many of my coworkers say it so easy. Do you feel it is user friendly? I was unaware that you could use it to make a podcast, so that is something else you taught me. Once again, good job and I wish you the best of luck...hopefully this class will get easier as we go..we'll see!

  6. Nice podcast! It was informative and I think you went above and beyond! I wasn't sure what to do either and got very frustrated as well so mine is pretty lame. I'm glad I have good examples like yours and other classmates for any future podcasts I make. Good job!

I am a wife and mother of 3 boys. I am a returning student in the process of obtaining my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I also work part time at a parents day out program in Indy. Most of my free time is spent going to my boys sporting activities. It is definitely our main source of entertainment at this stage in our life. I enjoy it tremendously!! This blog was a little confusing to me. Don't gasp but I don't even have a Facebook account! However, I do have a 13 yr old who can help walk me through if needed.
