About Me

- Jenny
- Indianapolis, Indiana
- I am a wife and mother of 3 boys. I am a returning student in the process of obtaining my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. I also work part time at a parents day out program in Indy. Most of my free time is spent going to my boys sporting activities. It is definitely our main source of entertainment at this stage in our life. I enjoy it tremendously!! This blog was a little confusing to me. Don't gasp but I don't even have a Facebook account! However, I do have a 13 yr old who can help walk me through if needed.

Jenny,
ReplyDeletenice job on your bookmarks, I especially like the fact that you added a very nice parent resource in the article entitled,
"The Over scheduled Child" this is great information to have because some parents believe that having their children involved in many activities is a wonderful thing, however it can lead to stress, fatigue, and a lack of concentration in the classroom.
Jenny,
ReplyDeleteGood job on your bookmarks...I borrowed a few! And congratulations on figuring it out by yourself...I know that feeling! Sometimes this assignments take me so long to do, but I was pleasantly surprised by this one and I enjoyed doing it. I think the Creativity in the Classroom site is very informative, and one that will be very useful in the classroom. I also love your recipe of the day widget...what a neat idea. Keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed that parenting site as well. I think its really creative to use that as a bookmark, I never even thought about that!! And congrats on figuring it out yourself. I still have problems figuring somethings out!!

ReplyDeleteYour bookmarking site was great! Like the above comments I too was very interested in the article about "The Over Scheduled Child." While I have no children of my own I definitely understand the aspects of parenting sometimes, when it comes to my little brother and my nephews. However after reading this article I now have a better understanding of not pushing and forcing a child to always get involved and while it may be good for them to be involved in all types activities and sports, do not overwhelmed them. Thanks for the insight!
